The Norsk Hostfest, held annually in mid-October, is North America’s largest Scandinavian festival. Rated by the American Bus Association as one of the top 100 events in the USA, the five nights and four days of Hostfest draws 50,000-60,000 visitors to Minot. Well-known musical artists perform on the Great Hall stage each day and five more stages are filled with continuous entertainment featuring national, regional and international talent.

Scandinavian cuisine prepared by master chefs introduces Hostfest patrons to a variety of foods that can’t be found under one roof anywhere else in North America. Shoppers enjoy the international marketplace boasting gift items handmade by hundreds of countries. Demonstrations, interactive events and exhibits provide hours of enjoyment, and cultural activities encourage appreciation of heritage. Begun in 1977, the Hostfest has demonstrated staying power and appeal for all ages. See www.hostfest.com to learn more.
